The highly anticipated 4th generation Tablo app for LG smart TVs is now available!
Owners of 4th generation Tablo whole-home DVRs with supported LG smart TVs can now visit the apps section of their smart TV and download the Tablo app.
What You Can Expect
With the 4th generation Tablo app for LG smart TVs you can enjoy live and recorded antenna TV and 70+ free streaming channels on any compatible LG smart TV in your home.
The overall design will be familiar to anyone using other 4th generation Tablo apps including:
- A home screen highlighting favorites, recent recordings and recommendations
- The familiar live TV grid guide so you can see what’s on now and over the next two weeks
- And streaming-style guides that let you browse upcoming TV shows, movies and sports
Supported LG Smart TV Models
The 4th generation Tablo app for LG smart TVs is supported on LG TV models manufactured in 2019 or newer running webOS 4.5+.

Older LG smart TV models are not supported with this app, however, you can still access the Tablo app by purchasing and connecting a compatible streaming device to those models of LG televisions.
How to Download the Tablo App on Your LG Smart TV
To download the app, from the home screen of your LG smart TV navigate to the APPS section and then select the search icon in the top right corner. (APPS may be called the LG Content Store on some TVs.)
In the search field, type TABLO TV, select the dark blue Tablo app and select INSTALL.
When the app has been installed, you can start the app by selecting LAUNCH. The app will locate and connect to your Tablo as long as it’s on the same home network as your smart TV.
You can move the TABLO app to the MY APPS bar on your LG TV’s home screen by pointing to the Tablo app and then pressing and holding SELECT (the wheel) button on the LG magic remote. Hold down the SELECT (wheel) button and then move the pointer to where you wish to place the app.
Wait for the app to appear in the new location on the MY APPS bar.
